What do no-shows cost you?

Change the numbers to match your diary. The answer updates as you type.

About 14 missed appointments a month cost you £624 a month.

Deposits kept on those no-shows would bring back about £125 a month.

The assumptions

  • A month is 52 weeks divided by 12, about 4.33 weeks.
  • Every no-show loses the whole price. If you can fill some of the gaps, your real loss is lower.
  • The deposit is kept only on no-shows and late cancellations, and only where your policy allows it. Read the guide on keeping deposits.
  • The no-show rate stays the same. In practice a deposit often lowers it, which this does not count.
  • Figures are before card fees. Nothing you type here leaves your device.
